Financial Education Resources

We understand that some students may not feel comfortable sharing their money questions or problems with us in person. There are many other ways that students can resolve their money concerns, however. Students can always email us at if they aren’t able to come to the Union to visit us due to work schedules, classes, or not being in Lincoln over the summer. If students want an answer to their money question right away, or prefer to remain anonymous, they can call us at 402-472-9093, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

If students want to try to figure out their money problems on their own, we have hundreds of resources that can be of help to them. We have a “Resource Corner” in our office which has over 100 resources in print that students can take home with them. We also have some books and dvds that students can check out for three weeks at a time. Go to our resources webpage ( to see a complete list of these resources, in addition to 300+ online resources, separated by topic. Above each resource, we have indicated whether we have the resource in print, online as a webpage, or online as a PDF. Each resource also has a short description of what topics the resource covers.

If students aren’t sure what resource is most applicable to them or need clarification on the material in a resource, they can contact us at any time or schedule a one-on-one appointment with us at
